MELANIE GRILLS, CHAIR
Melanie is a Gomeroi woman from Moree in New South Wales. Melanie is currently the national Indigenous Programs and Participation Lead at AECOM and delivers the Reconciliation Action Plan as well as helping teams address client requirements across large infrastructure projects. Melanie has also worked as the lead for Indigenous Affairs in other organisations as well as for the government in Native Title services giving her eleven years’ experience in the sector.
Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science with a Psychology Major, and a Graduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching. She is committed to ensuring the knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are woven into the fabric of ways of working and learning in business settings.
